We have an indoor pool in a room attached to the main house. The room is just over 1300 square feet with a 10' ceiling. There are 2 patio doors to enter the pool room from the main house. 3 other patio doors line the opposite wall of the pool room. A 5th patio door is located on the north side wall. There is wainscotting on the walls and the floor is interlocking brick (clay pot colour). We have enclosed all the ductwork in pine and paneling and painted the ceiling and walls in a warm yellow. I then framed all the walls and painted each one using a faux marble effect, resulting in the walls looking like large slabs of marble. These are framed with narrow white trim. The colours used for the marbling technique are the base yellow as the ceiling, and 1) clay pot 2) grey 3) cream colours. The veining was done in a natural white. The concrete on the steps and under the diving board was painted in a yellow to match the ceiling. The wainscoting, trim around the doors and pine fascia of the enclosed ductwork were stained in a pecan. A clear satin poly urethan was applied to the rest of the pine of the enclosed ductwork. I would like your suggestion on what colour and fabric to use for a window treatment for the 5 sliding doors.
